Sorrento is a bathing water area located along a coastline characterized by vertical tuff walls forming terraces behind the shoreline. The area features perpendicular and parallel rocky outcrops separating small sandy beaches. A tourist port is situated at the right extremity of the stretch. The beach composition is both sandy and rocky.
