Spiaggia di Vendicari lies within the Vendicari Nature Reserve, near Noto, and is reached by a walk of about 1 km from the park entrance, passing wetlands where birds and flamingos can be observed. The shoreline is partly sandy and partly covered with seagrass deposited by the surf, which also darkens the water color. Entry to the reserve requires a paid ticket of around 3.5€, and beach games are not permitted; parking near the entrance has reported incidents of vehicle break-ins.
