The beach is part of a marine-coastal water body and has been classified as excellent quality based on monitoring data from 2017–2020. The bathing area experiences no discharges from wastewater treatment plants or watercourse outlets that could convey pollutants into the swimming zone.

Bisceglie, in the province of Barletta–Andria–Trani, Puglia region, Italy. The bathing water body is named Barletta-Bisceglie.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No discharges of wastewater treatment plant effluent directly to sea. No watercourses or channels that could convey pollutant sources to the bathing area.

Risks

No short-duration pollution events recorded in the past four years. The area is not characterized by algae or cyanobacteria blooms. No cases of potentially toxic algal strains detected. No anomalous situations recorded.
