Adriatic Sea coastal beach with an indented coastline. Beach length 100 metres, width 20 metres. Coastal slope is mild (less than 15 degrees). Underwater coastal slope is moderate (15 to 25 degrees). Tide amplitude is 22.1 cm. Average sea temperature during season is 23.78°C. Salinity ranges from 27.5 to 37.9 during the season. Prevailing wind is from the south.

Location

Dubrovnik, Croatia. Free parking is available. Beach attainability is via stairs. Boat docking is available nearby but outside the beach area.

Facilities

Restaurant and café bar available on site. Floating safety lines provide beach front protection. Concessionaire is Konoba Gusar.

Season

Monitoring conducted annually from 2009 to 2025, with 10 samples collected per year in recent years.

Water Quality

Water quality has been assessed annually since 2009 under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EC. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings. Most recent assessment periods include 2022-2025 with 40 sampling observations.
