Sundstatjärn is a bathing area in central Karlstad featuring a 20-meter-wide sand beach surrounded by large grassy areas. The site is located near Sundsta bathhouse within a popular and well-visited green space that hosts various community activities including walking events, running races, football tournaments, and summer exercise classes. A 1.3-kilometer walking path circles the lake, and a playground is nearby. During summer months, an illuminated fountain in the lake helps oxygenate the water.
