Sv. Križ is a partially cultivated pebble beach located in Arbanija near Trogir on the island of Čiovo in Croatia. The beach stretches 100 metres in length with a width of 15 metres and features a mild coastal slope. The area experiences high bather density during the season and is characterized by a small town beach environment with tree vegetation.

Adriatic Sea. Beach length 100 metres, beach width 15 metres. Average sea temperature during season 24.25°C. Salinity ranges from 28.1 to 39.1 during the season. Tide amplitude 27.2 centimetres. Mild underwater coastal slope (less than 15 degrees). Prevailing wind from the north-east.

Location

Arbanija, Trogir/Čiovo, Croatia. Accessible by asphalt road. Parking is not available.

Facilities

Rescue service, café bar, trash cans. Boat docking available nearby but outside the beach. Sea side protection not present.

Season

Monitoring conducted year-round with annual assessments and rolling four-year assessment periods.

Water Quality

Water quality assessed annually since 2009 under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ, with 10 samples taken each year. Quality classifications range from excellent to poor.
