Location

Located in Racale municipality, Lecce Province, Puglia region, Italy. The bathing area is part of the southern limit of the Porto Cesareo Marine Protected Area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No wastewater treatment plant discharges reach the sea, and there are no river mouths or canals in the bathing profile that could convey pollutant sources. No short-duration pollution events were recorded in the last four years.
