Water quality classification: excellent. The water body is associated with Torrente Scioviano hydrographic basin. Short-duration pollution events are characterised by surface runoff from urban and agricultural land use sources.

Risks

Potential pollution from short-duration runoff events linked to urban areas and agricultural activity. No cyanobacterial blooms or algal proliferation have been recorded in the past four years.
