Traeth Llyfn sits along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path near Porthgain and the Blue Lagoon, backed by tall cliffs and reached via a steep flight of metal steps of over 100 in number. The sandy beach features rock pools and open sea water with breaking waves, and swimming and bodyboarding both occur here, though currents and rip tides are present. No facilities are located on site, with access limited to the coastal path and stairway descent.
