Traeth Tan-y-bwlch lies below Pen Dinas hill fort, near Aberystwyth's harbour and pier, forming a crescent of dark sand and shingle. The beach offers rock pooling areas and is accessible via a free car park near the pier. Dogs are permitted on the beach.
