Tràigh Siar sits on Vatersay, reached via a community centre that provides parking, a café, toilets, and showers. The beach features white sand with pebbly sections and is one of two beaches on the island, connected by a short walk. Camping is permitted near the shore, though not within the dunes, and a monument to the Annie James shipwreck victims stands nearby.
