Risks

The mouth of Torrente Scilotraco has been identified as a source of potential pollution impact. Short-duration pollution events have been recorded, including accidental treatment plant failures and overflow from the Botricello treatment plant and agricultural areas. No cyanobacterial proliferation events or macroalgal/phytoplankton proliferation events have occurred in the past four years.
