Ustka Wschód is a coastal bathing beach on the Baltic Sea located east of the Słupia River. The beach features a wide sandy shoreline ranging from 20 to 100 metres in width. Water quality is generally good, with no occurrences of cyanobacteria, algae, or other contaminants reported. The beach is equipped with modern amenities and monitored during the official swimming season.

Water

Baltic Sea coastal waters. Beach width ranges from 20 to 100 metres.

Location

Ustka, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Słupski District, Poland. The beach is positioned on the eastern side of the port. The Coastal Promenade runs alongside the beach with numerous dining and recreational facilities nearby.

Facilities

Two showers, WOPR rescue base, medical point, sport sector, promotional sector. Four lifeguard stations (100 metres each) covering 400 metres of beach. Toilets adapted for disabled persons, two ramps for disabled access equipped with RELUME (wheelchair access to water). Waste bins, regular beach maintenance with mechanical sand cleaning twice weekly. Beach lounger rental available. Children's play area. White flag indicating safe bathing conditions as of 10 September 2025. WOPR flag mast present.

15 June 2025 to 15 September 2025. Operating hours: 10:00–18:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025 is adequate. The maximum permitted concentrations are: Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. As of 10 September 2025, water was suitable for bathing with E. coli at 15 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci at 1 CFU/100 ml. One non-bathing day recorded on 30 July 2025 due to Escherichia coli levels reaching 1061 CFU/100 ml. Historical data from 2016–2024 shows consistent adequate to good water quality classifications.
