Uvala Mavarčica is a partially cultivated beach located in the Trogir/Čiovo area of Croatia. The beach features a rocky surface with some concrete structures and is 300 metres long and 25 metres wide. It has low vegetation coverage and a moderate coastal slope. The beach experiences high bather density during the swimming season.

Adriatic Sea coast with wavelike shape and moderate underwater slope (15–25 degrees). Average sea temperature during season: 23.85°C. Salinity ranges from 25.1 to 39.6 ppt. Tide amplitude: 27 cm. Prevailing wind: South-West.

Location

G. Okruk, Trogir/Čiovo, Croatia. Access is by pedestrian path. No parking is available.

Season

Monitoring conducted annually with 10 samples per year since 2009. Four-year assessment periods used for final classification.

Water Quality

Bathing water has been monitored annually and assessed over four-year periods under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ since 2009. Monitoring shows excellent water quality classification.
