Valle dell'Erica is a bathing water area in Sardinia, Italy, characterised by a sandy seabed. The beach has a width of 370 metres and typically accommodates approximately 350 swimmers. The area is located near the access channel to Porto Pozzo, bounded by the Coluccia peninsula and the western hills of Conca Verde.

Coastal marine water body with sandy seabed. The western slope formations have depths exceeding 5 metres. The area extends 15.766 km². The water body is associated with the Liscia River drainage basin.

Location

Located in the municipality of Olbia-Tempio in Sardinia, near Santa Teresa Gallura. The bathing area is situated at the Porto Pozzo access channel.

Facilities

No lifeguard assistance or first aid services. No toilet facilities. No showers. No disabled access services. No refreshment points. No sports facilities. Animals are not permitted in the bathing area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent. Tourism-related discharges and sensitive areas have been identified as sources of pollution of very high importance. River mouths, ports, and coastal infrastructure are identified as sources of less important pollution.
