Valsaline is a partially cultivated town beach in Pula, located in the Veruda area. The beach features a predominantly pebble surface with rocky sections and is lined with trees. It stretches 420 metres in length with a width of 20 metres, set against an indented coastline with moderate underwater slope. Average sea temperature during the season is 23.45°C.

Adriatic Sea beach. Length 420 metres, width 20 metres. Average sea temperature 23.45°C during season. Salinity ranges from 36.9 to 39.4. Tide amplitude 46.4 cm. Prevailing wind direction is north. Moderate underwater coastal slope (15–25 degrees).

Pula, Veruda. Accessible by asphalt road with free parking available.

Facilities

Lifeguard service, changing room, café bar, playground, land sports facilities, water sports facilities, benches, waste bins. Floating safety lines provide sea-side protection.

Season

Monitoring conducted year-round with 10 annual samples. Assessment periods are four-year rolling cycles with 40 samples per period.

Water Quality

Water quality monitored annually with 10 samples per year since 2009 under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EC. Final assessment periods based on 40 samples over four-year rolling cycles. Quality classifications recorded as excellent, good, sufficient, and poor.
