Värska Sanatorium bathing area is located on the southern shore of Värska Bay, a part of Lake Peipsi, within the Värska Sanatorium territory in Setomaa Municipality, Võru County. The bathing spot has a sandy beach approximately 40 metres long and 30 metres wide, with a 10-metre sandy section. The designated swimming area is marked with buoys and has a maximum water depth of 1.8 metres. The surrounding area features extensive park forests with pine and mixed forests covering over 130 hectares. The bathing area is well-maintained and regularly cleaned at least once daily.
