Venäjänhiekka lies along the shore of Tiilikkajärvi lake in Tiilikkajärvi National Park, accessible via the Uitto Circle Trail (7 km) and Tiilikka Circle Trail, roughly 3 kilometers from the nearest parking lot. The sandy lakeside site offers camping areas, two campfire spots, an outdoor shelter, firewood, and a toilet.
