Venezia Lido at lungomare G. Marconi is an equipped beach located on the narrow island separating the northern portion of the Venetian Lagoon from the Adriatic Sea. The beach stretches in a northeast-southwest orientation and features significant hospitality infrastructure. A lifeguard tower with personnel is present at the site.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent for the period 2021–2024. Enterococcus intestinalis 95th percentile: 14,633 CFU/100 ml; 90th percentile: 13,616 CFU/100 ml. Escherichia coli 95th percentile: 10 CFU/100 ml; 90th percentile: 10 CFU/100 ml. No river mouths present as pollution sources. The Venice-Lido sewage treatment plant (designed capacity 60,000 population equivalents) discharges directly to sea approximately 4 kilometres from the coast.
