Location

Bari, Puglia region, Italy. The bathing area is situated on the rocky coast near the mouth of Lama Giotta at the northern boundary.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017-2020). No wastewater discharges directly to sea. The only potential pollution source is the mouth of Lama Giotta at the northern boundary. No short-duration pollution events have been recorded in the last four years.

Risks

No algal blooms or cyanobacteria recorded. No cases of potentially toxic algal proliferation detected in the last four years. No anomalous situations verified.
