Via Trinacria is a coastal bathing water in Andora, Liguria, characterized by rocky terrain with pebbly beach to the east and mixed sandy-pebbly beach to the west. The area is located in the promontory zone of Capo Mele with cliff formations. The bathing water has been classified as excellent from 2008 to 2011.

Private bathrooms with services available in the western zone. No services in the peripheral eastern zone. Animal access is permitted.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2008-2011). Identified pollution sources include coastal treatment plant (Depuratore porto-villa Fontana), marine outfall pipe, and river mouth (foce fluviale). No special monitoring measures or evaluations are currently active.

Risks

The Ligurian Sea is not characterized by cyanobacterial blooms due to predominant oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal strain proliferation have been documented in the last four years.
