Plava plaža (Blue Beach) in Vodice is a cultivated town beach with a pebble surface and a mild coastal slope. The beach is 780 metres long and features low and high vegetation. It holds Blue Flag status and experiences high bather density during the season. The beach is equipped with numerous facilities including restaurants, cafés, lifeguard services, showers, and changing rooms.

Water quality monitoring conducted annually with 10 samples per year under both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EC. Four-year assessment periods include 40 samples. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
