Wild Pear Beach lies half a mile north of Combe Martin, accessed via the Southwest Coast Path or a field path from the Kiln car park. The beach consists of coarse shale sand with rocky outcrops, and sandy areas are exposed at low tide. Access involves a steep, narrow descent with a rope section following a landslide, and no facilities are present on site.
