Zaton is a cultivated beach located in Šibenik, Croatia. The beach features a concrete structure as its primary surface with pebbled areas. It has a strait coastline with a mild underwater slope and is bordered by trees. The beach stretches 120 meters in length with an average width of 10 meters.

Monitoring conducted year-round with annual assessments and rolling four-year assessments.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually since 2009 with 10 samples per year. Four-year rolling assessments have been conducted continuously from 2009–2012 through 2022–2025, each with 40 samples. Water quality classifications recorded include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
