Via Cadorna is a sandy bathing area in Pescara, Abruzzo, with a beach composed of over 99% sand and medium granulometry. The beach is approximately 100 metres wide and covers an area of 1.67 square kilometres. The surrounding area is occupied by urban settlements, with several beach facilities present, some equipped with swimming pools. The bathing water is classified as Excellent.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. No treated wastewater discharges or storm overflow structures are present on the coastline. Potential pollution sources include the Pescara River, Vallelunga Ditch, and Pretaro Ditch, which delimits the southern boundary of the city. No anomalous events have occurred. Cyanobacterial blooms have not been observed in the marine waters off the Abruzzo coast. Sparse phytoplankton blooms occur in summer; occasional dinoflagellate blooms with scarce or absent toxic species have been recorded in previous years.
