It features a sandy shoreline with a medium seabed slope of 2.3% from the waterline to the 5-meter isobat. Single submarine bars and ridges are present. Beach sediment grain size ranges from 0.018 to 2 mm.

Corigliano Calabro municipality, Cosenza province, Calabria region, Italy. The bathing area is situated south of the Scavolino Canal, facing agricultural and forested lands.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events may occur under exceptional meteorological conditions, specifically runoff from agricultural areas. No cyanobacteria or algal blooms have been recorded in the sea and inland waters over the past 4 years. Macroalgae and phytoplankton proliferation has not occurred.
