Location

Guardia Piemontese, province of Cosenza, Calabria. The bathing area is located 150 metres on the left side of the Bagni river, in front of the urban centre.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The area is monitored by the Region, Municipality, ASP, and Arpacal. No specific pollution measures are currently active.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events from urban runoff have been identified as a source via Fosso Pietra della Menta II. No cyanobacterial or algal blooms have occurred in the past four years.
