Bratten and Strandby is a sandy beach with a sandy bottom stretching approximately 4 km along the coast. The beach width varies from 25 to 35 meters. Water depth is shallow, approximately 0.5 meters at 30 meters from shore, 1 meter at 50 meters from shore, and 1.5 meters at 75 meters from shore. The water is salt with weak currents flowing from varying directions, predominantly towards the north and east. Water clarity is good, with visibility exceeding 1 meter. There are few or no algae present, and no cyanobacteria detected.
