The bathing water area is located south of the Torrente Bagni stream near Lamezia Terme in Calabria. The beach features a sandy and pebbly composition with a geomorphological descriptor of a coastal plain and alluvial fan. The seabed slopes at an average gradient of 1.3% from the waterline to the 5-metre isobath. The bathing area extends over 0.344 square kilometres.
