Sassari municipality, Sardinia. Porto Torres area. The bathing water is located 250 metres west of a discharge point.

Water quality classification: Excellent. Identified pollution pressures include industrial discharges under IPPC regulation (very important), agricultural diffuse pollution (important), and industrial diffuse pollution (very important). Cyanobacterial proliferation potential and macroalgae proliferation potential are under study.

Industrial discharges, agricultural diffuse pollution, and industrial diffuse pollution identified as pollution sources. Short-duration pollution events are under study with modelling approaches being developed. Cyanobacterial and macroalgae proliferation potential are under evaluation.
