This bathing water is located 250 meters to the left of the mouth of Fosso Sant'Anastasia near Fondi in the Lazio region. The area features a sandy beach with equipped bathing facilities including a beach establishment. The water body extends approximately 1.124 kilometers along the coast between Porto San Felice Circeo and Punta Stendardo.

Fondi, Latina province, Lazio region. The bathing area is situated near the mouth of Fosso Sant'Anastasia, between Porto San Felice Circeo and Punta Stendardo.

The profile was prepared in March 2011 with an update scheduled for 2012.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is elevato (excellent). The area is part of the Fondi-Itri hydrographic basin. Mollusk farming is present as a source of impact. Currently, no specific monitoring of pollutant concentrations is active.

Risks

Mollusk farming is identified as a source of water impact. Short-duration pollution events are under study for adequate modeling approaches, with sources still being evaluated.
