Barletta, in the Barletta-Andria-Trani province of the Puglia region, Italy. The bathing area is located 500 meters south of the city's sewage treatment plant discharge point.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017-2020). The main identified source of potential pollution is the Barletta sewage treatment plant with treated wastewater discharge conducted through a submarine pipeline. No short-duration pollution events were recorded over the last four years.
