Parghelia, Calabria, Italy. The bathing area is located 700 metres north of Punta Tonnara, in the municipality of Parghelia, province of Vibo Valentia.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent. No specific active pollution control measures are currently in place.

Risks

The mouth of Vallone Pedrosa is identified as a source of potential impact on the bathing water. Short-duration pollution events from urban runoff from nearby urban areas have been identified, though no anomalous situations have occurred. Cyanobacterial proliferation events have not occurred in the past four years. Macroalgal and phytoplankton proliferation events have not occurred in the past four years.
