Water quality classification: Excellent. No specific active measures are currently in place regarding wastewater treatment or pollution control.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events may occur due to rainfall runoff from urban areas. Cyanobacterial and macroalgal proliferation have not occurred in the past four years.
