AC Bijela uvala is a partially cultivated beach located in Funtana within the Zelena laguna area. The beach features a concrete structure surface with rocky areas and mixed vegetation. It has a mild coastal slope and extends 1350 metres in length with an average width of 40 metres. The beach experiences high bather density during the swimming season and maintains a wavelike coastal profile.

Adriatic Sea. Average water temperature during season: 24.27°C. Salinity ranges from 34.1 to 39.2 during the season. Tide amplitude: 49.2 cm. Mild underwater coastal slope (less than 15 degrees). Prevailing wind direction: East.

Location

Funtana, Zelena laguna area. The beach is accessible via asphalt road. Free parking is available.

Facilities

Lifeguard service, restaurant, café bar, sanitary facilities, showers, changing rooms, benches, trash cans. Floating safety lines provide sea-side protection at the beach front.

Monitoring conducted annually from 2009 to 2025. Assessments cover four-year periods with 40 samples per period.

Water Quality

The beach holds a Blue Flag designation. Annual monitoring has been conducted since 2009 with 10 samples per year. Four-year assessment periods under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ show consistent monitoring from 2009–2025, with each period comprising 40 samples. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
