AC Zelena Laguna is a cultivated beach located in Funtana within the Zelena laguna area. The beach features stone plate surfaces with rocky areas and low and high vegetation. It holds Blue Flag status and is situated along a strait coastline with a mild underwater slope. The beach stretches 350 meters in length and 30 meters in width.

Water

Coastal sea water body. Average sea temperature during the season is 24.25°C. Salinity ranges from 34.8 to 39.1 during the season. Tide amplitude is 49.2 cm. The underwater slope is mild with less than 15 degrees gradient.

Location

Located in Funtana, Zelena laguna. Accessible by asphalt road. Free parking is available. The beach is operated by Plava laguna d.d. Poreč and is part of a camping area.

Facilities

Café bar, lifeguard service, shower, changing room, disabled access facilities, benches, and trash cans.

Season

Monitoring occurs year-round with annual assessments and four-year assessment periods. Average sea temperature data is recorded during the season.

Water Quality

Water quality is monitored under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Annual assessments have been conducted from 2009 to 2025 with 10 samples per year. Multi-year assessments spanning four-year periods are also performed with 40 samples each. Classification results include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
