AC Istra - Plaža Istra is a cultivated beach located in Funtana, Croatia. The beach features a predominantly concrete structure with rocky areas and low to high vegetation. It stretches 500 metres in length with a width of 30 metres along a mild, wavelike coastline. The beach is protected by floating safety lines and holds Blue Flag status.

Adriatic Sea. Average sea temperature during the season is 24.27°C. Salinity ranges from 34.5 to 39.4. Tide amplitude is 49.2 cm. The underwater coastal slope is mild (less than 15 degrees). The prevailing wind direction is east.

Location

Funtana, Croatia. The beach is accessible by asphalt road. Free parking is available on site.

Annual monitoring conducted with 10 samples per year from 2009 to 2025.

Water quality is monitored under Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Annual assessments have been conducted with 10 samples each year from 2009 to 2025. Four-year rolling assessments (40 samples) are performed covering periods from 2009-2012 through 2022-2025. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor categories.
