TN Funtana - Uvala Frnažine is a cultivated beach located in Funtana, Croatia. The beach features stone plate surfaces with rocky areas and is bordered by trees. It has a mild coastal slope with an indented coastline shape and serves as a hotel beach with high bather density during the season.

Adriatic Sea. Beach length 200 metres, width 20 metres. Average sea temperature during season 24.28°C. Salinity ranges from 34.4 to 39.2 during the season. Tide amplitude 49.2 cm. Underwater coastal slope is moderate (15–25 degrees). Prevailing wind direction is east.

Location

Funtana, Croatia. Coordinates: 45.1722°, 13.596°. Free parking available. Beach is accessed by stairs.

Facilities

Sanitary facility, shower, changing room, disabled access, playground, land sports, water sports, bench, trashcan. Floating safety lines present along beach front. No boat docking.

Season

Monitoring conducted year-round with annual assessments and rolling four-year assessment periods.

Water Quality

Monitored under both Croatian national bathing water regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EC. Annual sampling conducted with 10 samples per year from 2009 to 2025. Four-year assessment periods with 40 samples each conducted from 2009–2012 onwards. Water quality classification includes excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
