Lanterna - Plaža Valeta is a cultivated beach located in Tar-Vabriga on the Croatian coast. The beach features a concrete structure surface with pebbles and is lined with trees. It extends 530 metres in length with a width of 20 metres and has a mild coastal slope. The beach experiences high bather density during the season with an average sea temperature of 24.6°C.

Location

Tar-Vabriga, Lanterna. Beach is accessible via asphalt road. Free parking is available. Boat docking is located more than 100 metres away from the beach.

Facilities

Rescuer service, sanitary facility, shower, changing room, restaurant, playground, water sports, benches, auxiliary facilities, trashcans. Floating safety lines provide beach front protection.

Season

Monitoring conducted annually with 10 samples per year. Data available from 2009 to 2025.

Water quality has been assessed as excellent under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Sampling has been conducted annually with 10 samples per year from 2009 to 2025. Four-year assessment periods show consistent results over the monitored timeframe.
