AC Turist - Plaža Vala is a cultivated beach in Vrsar with a concrete structure surface and rocky areas. The beach is 300 metres long and 25 metres wide, situated on an indented coastline with a moderate underwater slope. Average sea temperature during the season reaches 24.17°C, and the beach experiences high bather density.

Water

Adriatic Sea with salinity ranging from 34.2 to 39.4 during the season. Tide amplitude measures 49.2 cm. Prevailing wind direction is north-east.

Location

Vrsar, accessed via asphalt road with free parking available. Boat docking is nearby but outside the beach area.

Facilities

Sea buoys, restaurant, rescuer service, shower, water sports facilities, benches, and trash cans.

Season

Annual monitoring conducted from 2009 onwards with ten samples collected each year.

Water Quality

Monitored annually with 10 samples per year and assessed over four-year periods with 40 samples. Quality classifications range from excellent to poor, with assessments conducted under both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ standards.
