Mild coastal slope (less than 15 degrees) with moderate underwater coastal slope (15 to 25 degrees). Average sea temperature during season is 23.97°C. Salinity ranges from 34.3 to 39.3. Tide amplitude is 49.1 centimetres. Prevailing wind direction is north-east.

Location

Rovinj, Valalta area. Free asphalt road access with free parking available. The beach is operated by Valalta d.o.o. Rovinj within a camping facility.

Monitoring conducted year-round with 10 samples annually from 2009 to 2025.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually with 10 samples per year from 2009 to 2025 under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Quality assessments are conducted over four-year periods with 40 samples each. Quality classifications recorded include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
