Amado is a coastal bathing water located on a golden sand beach with cliffs in the Natural Park of Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina and within a Natura 2000 site. The beach is 100 metres long and is well known for surfing and bodyboarding due to its waves. The beach has restricted use and is associated with sensitive natural systems.
