Bordeira is a coastal bathing water located on a golden sand beach with restricted use in the Natural Park of Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina and within a Natura 2000 protected site. The beach is situated near the Bordeira stream and features dunes and cliffs composed of schist, graywacke, and limestone. The beach extends 200 metres and experiences a tidal range of 3.4–3.5 metres with mean wave heights of 1 metre and predominant north to northwest winds.
