Annestown Beach sits a short drive from Tramore, with a shoreline of shale and small pebbles rather than sand. Cement steps are built into the western hillside for seating, and a trail leads up the western cliff, while a cafe run by the local scouting group operates on site. Parking is available near the beach, and at low tide sea arches and islands become visible along the strand.
