Isola delle Femmine, Palermo Province, Sicily. The area extends 1,000 metres along Via Kennedy. Coordinates: start 38.184-13.2345, end 38.1889-13.2405, monitoring station at 38.1865-13.2377.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Sufficient (2019–2024). No bathing prohibitions have been reported by the competent authority.

Risks

The area is located near highly anthropogenic zones with possible recent cyanobacterial bloom events. The zone is classified as at risk for Ostreopsis Ovata proliferation.
