Auchmithie Beach sits below the village of Auchmithie, near Arbroath, at the base of high cliffs formed from an ancient river delta. It is a pebble beach with rock pools, an old harbour, and caves, accessed via a steep path down from the village, which has a public toilet. The sea is used for swimming, paddling, and kayaking.
