Aurisina Filtri is a coastal bathing area located in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Italy. It is a pebble beach serving a beach establishment with a wharf. The area has been classified as Excellent in water quality for the reference years 2015-2018. No variations in water quality were observed during the bathing seasons from 2015 to 2018.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as Excellent (reference years 2015-2018). Escherichia Coli (90th percentile): 10 CFU/100ml; Escherichia Coli (95th percentile): 10 CFU/100ml. Intestinal Enterococci (90th percentile): 14 CFU/100ml; Intestinal Enterococci (95th percentile): 22 CFU/100ml. No short-duration pollution events recorded between 2015 and 2018. Wastewater treatment occurs at the Sistiana Treatment Plant with an underwater outfall pipe.

Risks

No cyanobacteria-related phenomena have been reported. No cases of potentially toxic algal blooms were detected. No high concentrations of potentially toxic species were found during the period 2015-2018.
