The Banter See (Klein-Wangerooge) developed from a former harbour basin into a popular recreational area. The lake is independent of tidal movements and offers excellent conditions for swimmers, surfers, sailors, canoeists, and divers. The open-air swimming facility Klein Wangerooge features a kiosk and barbecue areas.
