Zeetze is a lake-like expansion of the Krainke river located in an ice-age valley of the Elbe. The bathing spot lies between Neuhaus and Kaarßen directly on Federal Road 195. The public beach is in its natural state. The surrounding area contains agricultural land and the Niedersächsische Elbtalaue Biosphere Reserve.
