Balata is a rocky bathing area located 0.3 km south of the Asinaro River in the municipality of Noto, Sicily. The zone consists predominantly of rock formations with easy access to the cliff area. The beach has limited sandy areas and is frequented by local residents. The surrounding area is characterized by rural residential settlements.
